Helping little minds grow through play

Hi, I’m Ieva, a mum of two and the founder of Bloom Theory Kids. When I became a mother, I began thinking differently about the things we brought into our home. I wanted my children’s early years to be full of touching, trying, making and imagining—with room to discover the world beyond a screen.

Finding toys felt less simple than it should. I was looking for well-made things that invited children to do something: grasp a new texture, find a shape that fits, build a tower or tell a story. I wanted to understand what made each toy worth choosing.

Bloom Theory Kids grew from that search. It is a collection I choose with care, shaped by the questions I ask as a parent and the possibilities each toy brings to play.

Chosen with care

What earns a place in our shop

01

Something to discover

A texture to feel, a piece to turn, a small puzzle to work out. I look for toys that invite a child to take part and come back for another try.

02

Thoughtful materials and design

How a toy feels in little hands matters. I consider its materials, age guidance and safety information, with the specific details shared on each product page.

03

Room for their own ideas

Children bring something different to play each day. I value toys that offer opportunities to practise a skill, experiment or make a story their own.

Supporting parents, too

Making choosing a little easier

You shouldn’t need to become a toy expert to find something worthwhile. Our collections help you explore by age, by skill or by the kind of play your child enjoys—from a baby’s first sensory discoveries to a five-year-old’s imaginative adventures.

Our Play Sets bring complementary toys together, giving you a considered starting point for different stages and interests. Check the individual toys’ recommended ages, then follow what your child is ready to explore.

The people behind the toys

Thoughtful toys from European brands

I select toys from brands including Trixie, Floss & Rock, Gerardo’s Toys and Woopie Let’s Go Green. Each brings its own approach to design, from familiar animal friends to portable worlds and hands-on wooden activities.

Our toys come from European brands, while manufacturing locations vary. On each product page, you’ll find the available materials, safety and maker information, with design origins and manufacturing details distinguished clearly.

A note from Ieva

Thank you for being here

The first three years are at the heart of why I started Bloom Theory Kids. As children grow, the discoveries change—but the joy of finding something out for themselves stays.

I hope this shop helps you find toys that earn a place in your family’s everyday life: a favourite to reach for, a challenge to try again, or the beginning of a story you share.

With care, Ieva
